چکیده

The adoption of digital technologies in manufacturing enables intelligent dynamic control approaches, at the cost increased design complexity. In this paper, ontologies and delta-lenses are exploited to enable multi-scale models a system map different scales let data flow according level fidelity. A workflow is designed assess capability with lower details approximate behaviour original system, through application hybrid delta-lens. approach illustrated user case applied an industrial case, aiming deciding positions sensors assembly line.

investigation of single-user and multi-user detection methods in mc-cdma systems and comparison of their performances

Deriving Ontologies Using Multi-agent Systems

The complex systems are designed using multi-agent concepts. Agent interaction is complex and requires appropriate models for a communication and cooperation. Also the interaction between the users and the system agents must be done in an efficient way. One of the basic conditions is that to use a convenient "language", a common way of understanding. The ontology is the appropriate concept that...

Delta Lenses and Opfibrations

We compare the delta lenses, also known as d-lenses, of Diskin et al. with the c-lenses, known to be equivalent to opfibrations, already studied by the authors. Contrary to expectation a c-lens is a d-lens but not conversely. This result is surprising because d-lenses appear to provide the same information as c-lenses, and some more besides, suggesting that the implication would be the reverse ...

Modelling and Evaluation of Manufacturing Systems Using Dedicated Petri Nets

The design of a manufacturing system requires modelling and performance evaluation techniques To support this process a modelling method based on Petri nets is proposed in this paper A new class of coloured Petri nets is introduced which is well suited for the modelling of manufacturing systems Using this net class the structure and the work plans of a manufacturing system can both be modelled ...

Modelling information manufacturing systems

The manufacture of an information product (IP) is akin to the manufacture of a physical product. Current approaches to model such information manufacturing systems (IMS), lack the ability to systematically represent the dynamic changes involved in manufacturing (or creating) an IP. They also have limitations to consistently include aspects of process and information management at an organisatio...
